EVERY TEAM must have or have access to a Field Setup Kit.
Field Setup Kits will begin shipping in August.
The FIRST LEGO® League (FLL) Program Mat is Not a Toy.
The FLL field mat is not a toy. It should be used only as the “field” on which your team conducts FLL activities. Please take precautions to make sure that no child puts any portion of the field mat into his or her mouth.

Kit contents change from year to year based on challenge theme.
It consists of:
- Mission Models Set: Exclusive collection of several hundred LEGO elements required to build the models to place on the field mat.
- Field Mat, 44 3/4” X 92 3/4” roll-out
- Building instructions on CD
The field mat needs to be set up on a flat surface with borders around it.
