- rotation scheme allowed all members to be part of the competition.
Robot Design Award - Team #4942 ( Centennial Public School, Georgetown)
- innovative design
- modular functions
- solidly built and rugged
- meticulous attention to detail
Project Award - Team #4683 ( Calvin Park Public School, Kingston)
- unique project that has multiple commercial applications
- design criteria to solve a problem
- sought out experts in their field and worked with universities
- created a prototype and refined the design based on lessons learned
- presented their solutions in a methodical method that captured the interest of the judges
