2010 Body Forward Challenge

  Engineering Meets Medicine

Can FIRST® LEGO® League Teams improve our quality of life? Through the 2010 Body Forward™ Challenge, 9 to 14 year olds* will explore the cutting-edge world of Biomedical Engineering to discover innovative ways to repair injuries, overcome genetic predispositions, and maximize the body's potential, with the intended purpose of leading happier and healthier lives.

 The 2010 Challenge

Please visit www.firstlegoleague.org for more information.

ALERT : From FLL HQ

The Body Forward Building Instructions CD in the Field Setup Kits include a CD of building instructions for the Body Forward season. However, hawkeyed teams have noticed that the text on the front of the disc reads, "You can print the building instructions for the Smart Move Challenge using this...” As long as the cd has “9696” at the top, they do have the correct Body Forward CD. We apologize for any confusion.

 What is First Lego League?

FLL is the result of a partnership between FIRST and The LEGO Group. In 1998, FIRST Founder Dean Kamen and The LEGO Group’s Kjeld Kirk Kristiensen joined forces to create FIRST LEGO League (FLL), a powerful program that engages younger children in playful and meaningful learning while helping them to discover the fun in science and technology. So far, FLL has reached more than 135,000 kids in 45 countries around the globe.
